Very fast connection with samba client in the LAN network. I understand samba cant match ftp because it creates a full filesystem but around 8MBps should be doable. ![]() ![]() The same server also runs ftp where I get speeds of 11MBps. Also wireless-n in 40MHz band should support theoretical transfers of around 16MBps. Installation of Debian 11 on the media server. The server is connected to the router via LAN cable. Tired of finding a solution, I turned to the radical solution.
